UMX rider Jarno Verhorevoort participated in the Danish round of the Open European CHampionships. After qualifying in 12th in time practice Jarno lined up for the first moto and was ready to battle in the sand. He had a good start and was in fifth going into the race. He stayed in this postion until someone crashed right in front of him which sent him back to 12th. With a few laps to go Jarno managed to fight back to 7th in moto one. His start in moto 2 didn't go as well and he had to start the race mid-pack on his crf450. Jarno passed riders left and right to finish 10th. Combined with his 7th from the first heat he got 8th in the overall standings for the day. Next race will be the last round of the Belgian championships in Pierreux on 10 September.
