Factory Red Bull/KTM on Universal Monocoque Stands for 2006

If you look under the factory KTM-prepped 250 SX-F's of Nate Ramsey, Josh Hansen, Mike Alessi and Jeff Alessi you'll see they rest proudly on a screamin' orange Universal Stand. SX in Holland (Stoppelcross)

For the (American) Pros the Amp'd SX series is the highlight of the year. But not everyone is that talented. Universal's Dutch distributor Paul de Jong (of Paul's Boutique MX distribution) and his buddies have their own SX series at this time of the year. It's called Stoppel Cross (their SX) and they are held when the corn is chopped off and the local MX club ropes off a track around the field. No triple jumps or whoops, but a lot of fun too.

KTM Clamps

You asked for them, now we've got them. KTM clamps. Made of cold forged Kinesium Alloy and more adjust possibilities than you can wish for (20 millimeters total). Universal bar mounts are available in different heights too. The UMX Radius clamps offer four rubber and four solid alloy bar-mounting inserts to give you a choice of the amount of flex. By the way, we are sponsoring the American Red Bull/KTM team in '06 with sweet Universal Monocoque stands.

Erwin Robins from KNMV to MON in 2006

Universal MX sponsored Erwin Robins is changing federations for 2006. The Dutch sand specialist will challenge the 2006 MON titel aboard a Yamaha-Holland sponsored YZ 250. Yup, a two stroke in the MX1 class. Keeping it real.

MX Jarno goes MX1 in 2006

UMX rider Jarno Verhorevoort will switch from 125cc 2 stroke KTM's to CRF 450's in 2006. Jarno will be challenging the KNMV Open Dutch MX1 championships and some European races. We wish Jarno all the best in 2006 behind the Universal MX Solex handlebars.
